    Alright so July 4th is behind us and honestly I’m already looking ahead to Labor Day. I know a lot of people treat Labor Day as kind of the ‘last hurrah’ for summer fireworks but after the America 250 rush I feel like there’s gonna be some good deals on leftover stock.

    Anyone else planning a show for Labor Day weekend? I’m thinking something smaller than the 4th obviously – maybe just some 500g cakes and a few canister shells. Nothing crazy. My wallet still hasn’t recovered from July lmao.

    Also curious if any of the seasonal stands are still open near you. Around here most of them close up right after July 4th but a couple of the bigger ones stay open through September. Pretty sure the Phantom near me is still running.

    What’s everyone else’s plans?

    I feel you Danny, my wallet is still hurting from the 4th too lol. But honestly I’m kinda tempted to do something small for Labor Day. My local Phantom is still open and they’ve got 25% off everything right now. Might grab a few things.

    The stands near me in Phoenix are mostly gone already though. It’s too hot here anyway – nobody wants to be outside setting up tubes when it’s 105 degrees lol.

    I’m thinking maybe just fountains and some low-key cakes for the backyard. Keep it chill. What kind of cakes were you looking at?

    Labor Day show sounds good Danny. I’m doing one too but keeping it small. After the America 250 madness I think we all need a breather lol.

    One tip – if you’re gonna do a smaller show for Labor Day, don’t sleep on the 200g cakes. They’re cheaper, easier to set up, and you can sequence a bunch of them together for a solid finale without breaking the bank. I grabbed a case of Brothers 200g cakes on clearance last week for like each. Great bang for the buck.

    Also check if your local TNT or Phantom is doing clearance yet. Most of them start marking stuff down mid-August to clear shelf space for fall/winter inventory.
