Checked the city page cause I’m planning a little family show next weekend, and now they’ve got a 9pm hard cutoff. Used to be 11pm on the holiday itself.
Not a huge deal but kinda annoying when you got people driving in just for the BBQ, yknow? Anyone else’s area tightening up the hours this year or is it just mine?
9pm cutoff feels like someone complained about the noise one year and ruined it for everyone. My county moved it back to 10pm from midnight a couple years ago and nobody’s happy about it.
Best you can do is start the show right at dark so you still get a solid hour before they’d even think about citing you.
Tbh the cutoff thing bugs me less than the new permit fee ours added this year. Like $50 to shoot off legal 1.4G in your own yard on a holiday?
I just keep the show short and loud so the neighbors can’t complain I wasted their quiet evening, lol.
