I looked into this a few years back when I was trying to source directly from a factory in Liuyang. Short version: it’s a nightmare unless you go through a proper distributor. The factories themselves usually won’t even deal with individuals — they want container orders from established importers. The ones that say they’ll ship small quantities are usually dropshippers who don’t have the hazmat paperwork sorted. Not worth the risk tbh. I’d rather pay a bit more and know my stuff isn’t gonna get seized.
