I keep seeing ads on social media from Chinese factories claiming they can ship 1.4G consumer fireworks directly to my door. Sounds kinda too good to be true tbh. Some of the prices are way cheaper than what I’d pay at a local stand but I’m not trying to get my stuff seized by customs or get on some ATF watchlist lol.
Anyone here ever actually done this? I know technically you need an import license for commercial shipments but what about personal use quantities? Is there a threshold where it becomes an issue?
Also what happens if you order a case or two and it arrives at a port without the right paperwork? Does it just get destroyed or do they actually fine you? Would rather learn from someone who’s been through it than find out the hard way.
