I actually looked into this pretty seriously a couple years ago. The short answer is no, you can’t just order directly as a regular person. You need ATF registration as an importer, which means federal license, bond, the whole deal. Some companies will ship to a US-based freight forwarder that handles the customs paperwork – but that adds cost and you’re still responsible for compliance. Honestly unless you’re ordering a whole container, the math doesnt really work in your favor.
