Stopped by my usual tent yesterday and the 500g section was already looking picked over, still 3 weeks out from Labor Day. Guy at the counter said their distributor was short on a few brands and he wasn’t sure when the next truck was coming.
I remember reading something about a supply crunch after the big July 4th run this year, but figured that’d be sorted by now. Is this just my area or are you guys seeing the same thing?
Not just you. My local spot in Ohio said their distributor short-shipped two pallets last week. Iirc there was a whole supply chain mess after the July 4th blowout this year, factories backed up and everything. Guys who pre-ordered early are fine, everyone else is scrambling.
Same story down south, the 500g and the good canister shells are what’s getting thin. I was told to not sleep on it if I wanted specific brands before Labor Day. Kinda wild how one big summer plus a factory setback can ripple like this.
