I’ve been doing small backyard shows for years with just visco fuse and lighters but I wanna step up to an electronic firing system for better timing. Don’t need anything crazy – maybe 12-16 cues max.
Looked at the big names like Cobra and FireLite but holy cow those are expensive for a hobbyist. Is there anything decent in the -400 range that won’t fail on me?
I see a bunch of cheap ones on Amazon for like but the reviews are all over the place. Some say they work fine, others say they misfire constantly. Not trying to have a cake not go off in the middle of a show.
What are you guys using for small/medium backyard setups? Worth saving up for the expensive stuff or are there hidden gems?
