US cities with the best July 4th fireworks displays this year?

With the 4th just past, thought it’d be fun to share which cities really knocked it out of the park this year. I caught the Boston Pops show on TV and it looked amazing as always. Anyone go to the Macy’s show in NYC or the big display at the National Mall in DC?

I heard Chicago did theirs over the lake again and the water reflections made for some killer shots. Also curious about smaller towns that apparently go all out. My buddy in Bend, OR says their display is surprisingly good for a town of that size.

Where’d you watch this year and was it worth the trip?

I went to the one at Mount Rushmore this year. They do a huge display with fireworks going off around the monument. Saw it on YouTube last year and had to go see it in person. Definitely recommend putting it on the bucket list if you’re into patriotic displays.
